What time does it start?
11-00 am and 6-30 pm
for more information about service styles, go to "Sunday Services"
What shall I wear?
Whatever you feel comfortable in.
Most of us wear ‘smart casual’, a few of us wear suits and some of us aren’t so smart!
We won’t be looking at what you are wearing. We will just be glad to see you.
What happens?
As you enter church there is a foyer where someone will say ‘hello’ and give you a hymn book. You can sit anywhere you like.
During the service there will be some singing (you don’t have to join in), a reading from the bible and a talk about how God can help us.
We are a family church and range in age from 0-90. Some of our services are quiet and reflective, some of our services are noisy but we always aim to get closer to God and let Him speak to us.
Is there a charge?
No, it’s free.
Those of us who come regularly put money into ‘an offering’ every week but we don’t expect visitors to pay.
How long is the service?
Usually it is about 1hr 15 minutes.
Once a month we have a service where the children stay in for the whole time and they usually last an hour.
Sometimes people have to leave early and that’s fine.
Quite a few of our congregation work shifts and we are delighted to see them for however long they have available.
What about children and babies?
Children from 4 upwards have their own activities for part of the time.
Visiting children can join in or stay with you – whichever you think best.
There is a crèche room at the back of church where you can take babies and small children and still hear the service.
Can I park locally?
PARKING: There is a small car park on Spring Vale North, opposite the church, but this does get full some weekends. This is FREE on Sundays.
Alternatively, you can park in the Sainsbury car park off the ring road which is also free on Sundays.
There is a cut-through to the church from the left corner of the car park as you look at the front of Sainsbury.
Are there disabled facilities?
We have a hearing loop and a ramp to the front of the church.
There are toilets for the disabled.
We are a friendly church and will always try to accomodate individual needs.
